Mr. Chosay  age 54 years passed away Monday January 29, 2007 at Brian’s House. He was born in Bay City on May 21, 1952 to James P. Sr. and Maxine (Maxwell) Chosay. He married the former Diane Causley on November 11, 1978. She survives him. He retired from the Pinconning Area School System as Transportation and Maintenance Director. Jim was a member of Estey Moose Lodge, American Legion, Pinconning United Methodist Church, and past member of Pinconning Fraser Fire Department. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Janice Coggins (Brian Hebert), Nicholas Chosay, Tina (Mark) Goodman, Marion Chosay, 5 grandchildren, Krystle (Daniel) Lee, Ashly Coggins, Michael Coggins, Cody Coggins and Baby Goodman; mother Maxine Chosay; brothers and sisters, Mary (Larry) Rowell, John (Carolyn) Chosay, Jan (Mike) Koselansky and Laura Chosay, mother-in-law and father-in-law Harold & Joanne Causley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Annette & George Rieck, Karen & Dorr Walter, Greg Causley (Vicki), Shelly & Greg Marner. He was predeceased by his father. Funeral Services will be held Friday February 2, 2007 at 11 am from Pinconning United Methodist Church with Pastor Dorothy Thon presiding with burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 1 to 9 pm. On Friday Jim will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pinconning United Methodist Church or Brian’s House. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Brian’s House and, Bay Regional Medical Center 6 West for the compassion care given Jim during his illness with a special thank you to Pastor Dorothy Thon.
