Obituary for Kelley Jean Elviria Mochrie (Valley-Rambo)

Kelley Jean Elviria Mochrie (Valley/Rambo)
Bay City, Michigan

Kelley, age 45, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. She was born on July 19, 1973 in Bay City, Michigan to David Valley Sr. and Judy (Reeves) Valley. She married Edward Mochrie on October 31, 2015. He survives her. Kelley’s joy came from her family, they were most important to her. Seeing her family and grandchildren hanging out and playing together was her biggest blessing in life. Her infectious laugh will always be remembered and cherished. In her free time, Kelley enjoyed taking weekend trips with her husband; her most favorite trip was to a large cat sanctuary. Kelley had such a great passion for animals, specifically the white Siberian tiger, she had a strong connection with tigers and their majestic yet fierce when needed attitudes, their natural beauty, and instinctive nature as well as protecting their young. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading her daily horoscope, coloring adult coloring books, while listening to Native American Music. She loved to play with her English Mastiff Rubi-Doo. Kelley would throw the most amazing themed birthday parties for her children, which they will never forget. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Edward, her children Kayla (Korey) Reinhardt, Kimberly (Alex) Rambo, Joseph (Ashleigh) Rambo and Caleb Rambo and their father William Rambo. Step daughter Meghan (Jason) Greathouse, a step son Andrew (EJ) Mochrie. Grandchildren; Annabelle, Landen and Karmyn, step grandchildren; Jonathan, Maxine and Iris, siblings; Melissa (Wallace) El-Amin, David (Michelle) Valley, Joshua (Holly) Valley, Kevin (Jaknay) Valley, mother-in-law Jo Mochrie, sister-in-law Candice Rasmussen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Robyn Bush.

A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 7 pm from the United Family Fellowship Center with Kelley’s brother Pastor Dave Valley presiding with cremation to follow. Friends may visit at the fellowship center from 3 pm until time of service.
